What New Patients Can Expect
Step 1 - Preliminary Screening
As part of initial process we offer a preliminary screening to all new patients at our expense. This includes a completed confidential Application for Care, a posture check and a spinal palpation to determine if chiropractic care is indicated for your problem and if we can help you.
Privacy of your personal information is an essential part of our office in order to provide you with quality care. We understand the importance of protecting your personal information. We are committed to collecting, using, and disclosing your personal information responsibly. If you have any questions regarding our privacy policy please talk to the office staff.
Step 2 - Full Examination
If the screening determines that chiropractic care will likely help you, a full examination would be appropriate and financial obligations will be reviewed at this time.
An in-depth, chiropractic, neurological and orthopedic exam will be completed. This also includes a technologically advanced assessment of your nerve and energy system (SEMG) to determine how well your brain is communicating with your body. If indicated, x-rays will be taken to visualize your spinal structures and the health of your spine.
Step 3 - Report of Findings
Your next visit will be the “Report of Findings” when the doctor will explain your examination results and whether or not you have been accepted as a patient in this office.
If accepted your recommended treatment program will be explained to you. Your financial obligations based on the doctor’s recommendations for care will be discussed. You will also be scheduled for Health Workshops with the doctor. Our records show that those patients who respond most rapidly to care are those who have learned to help themselves. We give you, your family and friends the opportunity to learn what you can do to help us return you to health more quickly and cost effectively, and what one needs to do to stay healthy.
Step 4 - Your Adjustment
